Auto Alerts give users email notifications when changes take place on specific types of content. Some of the events that might trigger an email alert are:

  • Check In — When a user adds content to a folder.
  • Revision Check In — When content has been revised.
  • Check Out — When a user checks out a document for viewing or editing.
  • View — When a specific user views a document.
  • Date Events — When specific dates, such as lease expirations, occur.
