Tom Frisina

President and Owner

Tom founded DocClarity, a leader in Cloud-based content management in 2005. He has over 30 years experience in the data and content management space including nine years in the automotive aftermarket and 15 years in real estate, both commercial and residential. As President of DocClarity, Tom oversees all areas of the organization, including sales.

In the early days, DocClarity and other Cloud-based technology providers typically provided solutions for the enterprise, but now offer full featured, robust solutions to small and midsize organizations as well. DocClarity is built on a foundation of great partnerships with Oracle, Stellent and Sun and delivers efficient content and workflow to all areas of the organization, across industries.

Frisina is a Cleveland, Ohio native who married his high school girlfriend in 1981. Tom and his wife enjoy three children and two grandchildren. Tom graduated from Kent State University’s School of Journalism with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Telecommunications. He’s a professional member of AIIM, the Association of Information and Image Management and an Oracle Gold Partner.

Tom is the President of the Italian American Brotherhood Club and a contributing author to La Gazzetta, an Italian American newspaper and does charitable work with various not-for-profits including the Boy Scouts of America.


Almir Halilcevic

Vice President and Director of Technology

Almir HalilcevicAlmir spent over 11 years with Bezzotech, an Oracle WebCenter Solutions Partner, where he was a Technical Manager.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.  Additionally, he received his Masters of Science in Bioengineering from Arizona State University.  He has a rich skill set in Oracle applications, which is SmartCabinet’s underlying technology.


Peter van Sluis

Director of Product Development

Peter van SluisPeter worked with image, document, records and content management since 1995. He was the world wide Program Manager for image and content management for Agilent Technologies, and was Sr. Systems Engineer for Stellent, the company that wrote the core WebCenter Content software before Oracle purchased that company.
For ten years Peter worked with Bezzotech, an Oracle WebCenter Solutions Partner, as the Director of Training and Support; many projects side by side with Almir.
